Veteran’s earn a number of benefits through their service to our county. NC State is committed to meeting, and exceeding, their unique needs which includes help navigating the enrollment process, financial aid, and classroom experience.
Veterans attending North Central State College may be eligible to receive benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs when pursuing most associate degree programs.

Student Veteran Lounge
Located in Room 207 within Conard Hall, the Student Veteran Lounge is a safe environment for faculty, staff, and students who have served to relax and socialize with others. For more information, please contact Monica Durham.

This organization was designed to provide military veterans and their families with resources and support to achieve their goals, both academically and personally, and eventually gain meaningful employment.
