Mathematics Pathway

These represent sample pathways toward an Associate of Science in Mathematics. The Associate of Science degree in Mathematics is for students who like problem solving, puzzles, analogies, analysis, logic, and explanations in mathematical terms. The associate degree is ideal for transfer to a four-year bachelor’s degree program to prepare for a career in mathematics, education, actuarial science, statistics, business analysis, economics, logistics, engineering, government, research, and science. Where noted, these courses are guaranteed to transfer to any public Ohio college under the Ohio Transfer 36 model (general education) and/or Transfer Assurance Guide. This is just a sample. There are numerous courses that could apply toward this pathway, and with noted prerequisite exceptions, they do not have to be taken in this order.
