2024 Summer Coding Camp

Code a Carnival is a two-day camp designed to introduce students to coding and development of computer applications using the Microsoft MakeCode hands-on educational software. Participants will design an arcade-style carnival game using the tutorials supplied.

Explore computer science, coding, and making.
Learn critical thinking, assessment, and hands-on development of software applications.

Camp Information:

Camp Location – Kehoe Center, 175 Mansfield Ave., Shelby, Ohio
Dates – Monday, June 17 & Tuesday, June 18
Time – 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Age – Students enrolled in 6th through 8th grade in the 2024-2025 school year
Participants – Limited to 30 participants.
