| What’s the difference between dropping and withdrawing? | A dropped course occurs within the first few days of the term and removes the course attempt from the student's record. A withdraw occurs after the drop window has closed. Withdrawn courses remain on the student's transcript as an attempted course but does not count against their GPA. |
