A Donation Gives Back
The North Central State College Alumni Association is seeking nominations for the 2023 Alumnus of the Year award. The Alumnus of the Year will be announced and recognized at the annual Scholarship Luncheon.
Please attach supporting documentation, including two letters of support.
Purpose: To honor the extraordinary contributions of North Central State College Alumni, whose creativity, boldness of purpose, and community involvement, exemplify excellence in our region.
Criteria:
- Nominee must be a graduate of NCSC who has demonstrated growth and excellence in their business or profession.
- Nominee should have demonstrated a significant contribution(s) in their field, and commitment to the community through leadership by giving of personal time and/or resources.
- Nominee should be an example of what can be accomplished from obtaining a degree from NCSC.

North Central State College Alumni Association member Aileen (Roth) Stewart (’03) has written her first book, Fern Valley — A Collection of Short Stories, which can be found at local bookstores and other outlets. The first-time author, who lives in Shelby, Ohio, is already working on a sequel.
Job Placement Assistance Available to Alumni
In tough economic times, finding quality job leads can be difficult. The Office of Alumni Relations and Career Development Services at North Central State College are partnering to offer valuable job placement assistance for North Central State alumni and students.
North Central State College is utilizing job posting software, called College Central Network, opens in a new window. College Central Network allows employers to directly post and share job leads to North Central State’s electronic job board. Alumni and students can register to access job leads online as well as create and post resumes.
