NCSC Honors College Colloquium
October 21 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
The final Honors College colloquium for fall semester will be this evening, Tuesday, October 21, from 5:30 -6:30 p.m. (note the later start time) in room 164 Fallerius with Olivia Fosson, Miss Ohio 2025.
Olivia is a Juris Doctor Candidate at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and a former musical theatre major at Oklahoma City University – home to 3 Miss Americas! After a devastating injury in college caused permanent nerve damage, Olivia turned her experience into purpose, launching Body Neutral: Connect, Create, Celebrate – a statewide program that empowers people of all ages to cultivate self-worth beyond body image. . “Through celebrating and connecting with our bodies and creating healthy habits, Body Neutral aims to break the cycle of body judgement and reclaim our power.”
In March, she published her first children’s book, “Rocky’s Race,” which teaches the fundamentals of healthy living – nutrition, movement, and rest – to young children. She also serves as a national ambassador for Project HEAL and the WithAll Organization. Raised on a Christmas tree farm in Appalachian Ohio, Olivia is proud to amplify her community and inspire young Appalachian girls to believe they can move mountains. Now, she’s taking that spirit statewide – with heart, heels, and purpose.
