Health Pathway

These represent a sample pathway toward the following Health Science Programs: Practical Nursing Certificate (PNUR), Registered Nursing Degree (RNUR), Physical Therapist Assistant (PHTA), Respiratory Care (RESP), and Radiological Sciences (RADS) at NC State. For this sample, all courses apply to the RNUR. The courses also apply to many other allied health programs at NC State, but it is important to talk with an NC State advisor if seeking another allied health program. It is also important to comprehend all program admission criteria, including the TEAS V exam, when considering these programs. Students can access health program admission criteria on the degrees page. These courses, with noted exceptions, are also guaranteed to transfer to any public Ohio college under the Ohio Transfer Module (general education) or as applicable to a health-science related major. This is just a sample. There are numerous courses that could apply toward this pathway, and with noted exceptions they do not have to be taken in this order.
