Tuition Freedom Adult Learning Scholarships

North Central State College is expanding the popular Tuition Freedom Scholarship program to include adult learning opportunities.
If you are graduated from high school or completed your GED, you could receive 18 hours of tuition-free education toward a life-changing certificate.

The Tuition Freedom Adult Learning scholarship (TFS) is a tuition waiver which can help pay for up to 18 credit hours towards one of the approved certificates. The scholarship covers the cost basic tuition (instructional and general fees). This scholarship does not cover other costs of attendance, such as lab, contact and registration fees and book purchases.

Adult Tuition Freedom Adult Learning Scholarship Criteria*
- Adult Learning TFS is intended for working adults:
- To gain new skills for career advancement
- To train for a new career
- To increase the number of workers with professional credentials
- Adult Learning TFS pays tuition for up to 18 credit hours for certificates.
- Adult Freedom TFS students must:
- Have graduated from high school, or completed their GED.
- Apply to North Central State College.
- Be an Ohio resident.
- Have registered for Selective Service (if male)
- Students can have prior college credit.
- Student must take and pass a minimum of 6 credits each term, and maintain a 2.5 GPA
- Academic and non-academic student support is available
- Additional funding may be available for students who qualify for Federal Aid and/or meet specific criteria.
*North Central State College reserves the right to alter these criteria, or eliminate the Adult Learning Tuition Freedom Program at any time.
