DESCRIPTION:The final Honors College colloquium for fall semester will be this evening\, Tuesday\, October 21\, from 5:30 -6:30 p.m. (note the later start time) in room 164 Fallerius with Olivia Fosson\, Miss Ohio 2025. \nOlivia is a Juris Doctor Candidate at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and a former musical theatre major at Oklahoma City University – home to 3 Miss Americas! After a devastating injury in college caused permanent nerve damage\, Olivia turned her experience into purpose\, launching Body Neutral: Connect\, Create\, Celebrate – a statewide program that empowers people of all ages to cultivate self-worth beyond body image. .  “Through celebrating and connecting with our bodies and creating healthy habits\, Body Neutral aims to break the cycle of body judgement and reclaim our power.” \n In March\, she published her first children’s book\, “Rocky’s Race\,” which teaches the fundamentals of healthy living – nutrition\, movement\, and rest – to young children. She also serves as a national ambassador for Project HEAL and the WithAll Organization. Raised on a Christmas tree farm in Appalachian Ohio\, Olivia is proud to amplify her community and inspire young Appalachian girls to believe they can move mountains. Now\, she’s taking that spirit statewide – with heart\, heels\, and purpose.   \n

Today\, Steve dedicates his time by educating young people on avoiding the mistakes he made\, the importance of never selling yourself short\, avoiding shortcuts\, and how your past doesn’t have to define your future. Dr. Drew Pinsky\, known to television and radio audiences for over 30 years as Dr. Drew\, is a medical doctor\, addiction expert and best-selling author. He hosted the nationally syndicated radio show Loveline where he took calls from listeners and answered questions about adolescent and young adults health and relationship topics for over 32 years. Loveline was a nightly television show on MTV from 1996 – 2000. He also starred in the hit reality series Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew on VH1 which chronicled the struggle for sobriety and the cycle of addictive disorders of a group of celebrities. A much sought after guest on the talk show and news circuits\, Dr. Drew has made many appearances on Ellen\, Oprah\, Rachael Ray\, The View\, Dr. Oz\, Steve Harvey Show\, Jimmy Kimmel Live\, Good Morning America\, the Today Show\, CNN and the Fox News Channel. He received his undergraduate degree from Amherst College and his M.D. from the University of Southern California\, School of Medicine. He has been appointed to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and is a member of the board for the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
