Bromfield Library / Conard Hall

The Bromfield Library & Information Commons provides service to the faculty, staff, and students. It houses library resources, group study rooms, printing center, open computing areas, Learning Collaborative Classroom, and student research center. NC State also uses a Chemistry Lab on the second floor for students pursuing health programs.

Recently renovated, the BLIC is a showplace for the campus that meets the changing needs of students. Technology is now at the center of library services and students can connect with resources on campus and around the globe.

Collaborative spaces for small groups and entire classes are available in the BLIC. Technology is available to connect with library resources, the internet and students and presenters working remotely.

NC State maintains a Chemistry classroom on the second floor of Conard Hall. Many students enrolled in Health Science programs use this lab space.

Byron Kee Center for Student Success

As the first stop for most students exploring NC State, Byron Kee Center is where we gather all of our student services under one roof. We invite you to visit in person if you’re on campus. But we’re ready to serve you virtually as well.

Career Services serves students and alumni who want to complete internships while enrolled, and find rewarding careers after they graduate.

The Business Office can answer questions about your account, and is also the office where you will get your Student Identification Card.

Foundation events include the Scholarship Luncheon in the fall and the Graduate Picnic where the entire college gathers to celebrate the accomplishments of our students.

The North Central State College Foundation awards hundreds of scholarships to students each year. Scholarship applications are available in February for students enrolling for Fall classes the following school year.

Campus Bookstore

The Campus Bookstore serves the students, faculty, and staff of North Central State College. The staff work closely with faculty to make sure textbooks, supplies, technology, and other materials are available for all classes offered. You can also grab some bling while you’re there.

Campus Recreation Center

Campus activities, intramurals, and late-night events often take place at the CRC, especially when the weather turns colder. Comprehensive exercise equipment is also available for the use of students and faculty of the college.

The Rec Center hosts numerous activites including intramurals and events sponsored by the Campus Activites Board.

An assorment of excercise machines are available for your use.

At the Campus Recreation Center you’ll have access to a completely outfitted weight room.

Child Development Center

The Child Development Center is a licensed childcare center that enrolls children from 6 weeks of age through kindergarten and provides family support, guidance, and education. Often, older students are able to enroll their children at the CDC while they enroll in college.

Crawford Success Center

The Crawford Success Center is an outreach center for North Central State College serving the needs of residents from Crawford and surrounding counties. Students of all ages can connect with the college and begin their journey toward an associate degree, skilled training certifications, College Credit Plus classes, or a GED close to home.

Casual spaces let you study with friends or just relax between classes.

The staff at the Success Center is ready to help you connect to NC State throughout your education.

Computer access is available to help you complete your application to enroll, all the way through to your application to graduate.

Students can complete the entire Practical Nursing certificate at the Craford Center.

On the second floor, Student Union provides space to relax and connect with other students. the student union also serves as home for the Campus Activity Board, which hosts activities for students throughout the year.

The Marketplace offers both hot and cold food options for students.

Space is available for eating, socializing or a little of both.

Fallerius Center

Fallerius is the home to the Liberal Arts Division, which are required by nearly every student who enrolls at NC State. You will also find many of our administrative offices, including the Office of the President, the office of the V.P. of Academic Services, the Information Technology Department, and the Human Resources office. TRiO, the Tutoring Center and the Transfer Center also call Fallerius Home.

Every NC State program requires Liberal Arts coursework that will be used as part of your degree. These may include English, math, history and communications.

James W. Kehoe Center

The Kehoe Center, home to the Business, Industry and Technology Division for North Central State College, serves approximately half of the students enrolled with the college. Ample space is provided for both classrooms and hands-on learning labs in a variety of program areas. All age groups are also enrolled at Kehoe. High school juniors and seniors complete their associate degrees as participants in the CollegeNOW program; while employed adults engage in workforce training to develop additional skills to advance their careers. The Kehoe Center is also home to the first bachelor's degree available from NC State – the Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology. The Ralph Phillips Conference Center is a showplace for corporate meeting and life celebrations serving thousands each year.

The main campus of NC State is located just a few miles northwest of Mansfield on more than 600 wooded acres. The main campus is home to the Health Sciences Division and Liberal Arts Division, as well as school administration and many of the offices for student services which support students as they progress through their college education.
