Human Services and Social Work Pathway

These represent sample pathways toward an Associate of Applied Science in Human Services (HMSV) or an Associate of Arts in Social Work (AASW) at NC State. HMSV is designed for students immediately wishing to work upon graduation, while AASW is designed for those seeking direct transfer toward a bachelor’s degree. Where noted, these courses are guaranteed to transfer to any public Ohio college under the Ohio Transfer 36 (general education) and/or Transfer Assurance Guide. This is just a sample. There are numerous courses that could apply toward this pathway, and with noted prerequisite exceptions, they do not have to be taken in this order.
